Finally!! A fresh view on the Vampire story. This author goes through the trouble of applying real world science to the vampire idea. Yeah yeah, I know, you seen Sci Fi application to Vampire genre before..but that is usually the Sci Fi channel throwing out the scientific terms without understanding what they mean and then steam rolling thru a cheesy plot. Not the case in The Bloodline Chronicle. It's historical non-fictional perspective goes from present day real life scenarios and jumps ahead over 300 years into our future using a cleverly woven action packed vampire at war story line. It's Michael Crichton meets Ken Grevioux (Underworld). Definitely worth a summer read!Product details

This is an innovative new spin on a classic theme. This is a well written and fast-paced book that leaves you yearning for the next book. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something new and creative.
A. Gallardo gives a new twist to an old wives tale. Bloodline is futuristic, but backed with knowledge of evolution. Once you start reading this book it will make you think "this could really happen!" Every government wants a superpower, Bloodline makes that want a reality. If you like vampire themes, war action, personal conflict, science, and facts, you will like this book. I am looking forward to chronicle 2.
Instead of taking a step back in time to set the theme for this book, the Author took a step forward in writing about the future. The Bloodline Chronicle is a good take on science meets fiction, it's definitely not your typical vampire story, but far more interesting to read. The Author gives very descriptive ideas allowing the reader to create good visuals. I agree with the previous review, at times it was hard to decipher what character was speaking, other than that I would recommend this book to anyone. It was great!
This book was amazingly smart. The author beautifully wove real science into a fictional tale without loosing or boring the reader. It was intelligent and sophisticated while explaining the more difficult to understand science without being condescending. Also, it didn't make up scientific facts to cater to the story but stayed true to genetics and biology, unlike so much science fiction out there. The characters were delightfully written, and the story was fast paced to keep you completely consumed. Loved it!
Bloodline Chronicles is a new take on the super assassin of the future. Basically, the world as we know it has long since collapsed after a natural disaster and in order to survive, the new world government creates a new breed of human in the form of Eden. But the scientist involved in her creation begin to suspect that the new government has more in store for Eden than originally conceived. What I liked about this book was that it was well written and imaginative. Lots of descriptions that gave the setting flavor. Although it takes about two chapters before we ever get to see Eden in action, the build-up is well worth it. My only criticism is that most of the book is written in first person using diffrent characters and you have to pay attention to when the characters get switched in each chapter or you might get confused. But otherwise, a good imaginative read. Highly recommend it.
